The restaurant isn't what it use to be. The hostess was a little stressed out and attempted to sit us at a window where painters were working on the building. I asked to move due to being allergic to painter's and plumber's crack. She got upset and asked why I didn't say anything prior to her leading us to this table. She appeared very tired and wore down, similar to the restaurant. The waitress was very nice and really made an effort. The food was just OK. It seems like most of the customers are seniors who come to this place out of habit. It would really be sad if their last meal came from this restaurant.

You can say my review is a bit tainted. I have been to JBs enough to be familiar with the waitresses and I am related to one of the cooks. that aside, I never recall getting food i didn't like. From personal experience and observation, the waitress are good about keeping the coffee cups and water glasses filled. They are really friendly and really try to get to know their customers. JBs has a small but full buffet table. There are a lot or repeat and loyal customers which tells you a lot about the service..It's been in the same spot for years and is a family friendly place to catch a meal..It was my personal watering hole for years and, yes, I am a fan.

This place was excellent about 10 years ago. Last time we went in though and I asked for the steamed veggies with my salmon it lookd like they opened a can of veggies from the dollar store and threw them on my plate, and uncooked. There was also some very noticeable repairs in need, the ceiling was decaying and hanging down over the waiters station and the awning outside when u come in is in such disrepair you better watch out when its windy, it might hit u in the face.

My family and I went for dinner here tonight. The service was terrible. We had to find our own utensil's. My wife had to sk for her bowl of soup. My daughter had to get her own salad. Their chicken fried well first the order was not placed right away. The wife's meal was cooked. And the daughters was served 15 minutes. This place has slipped to the wor st place to eat in Great Falls.

Ick.... We went there for breakfast this Sunday, and it was awful and depressing. Looked like we were eating in a dining room from a nursing home, and the food looked like it as well. I saw two different people get up and leave because no one waited on them, and we were a nano second from leaving because our food was taking too long. Food was blah at best. Service was poor, and the atmosphere was just abhorrent . I've been there several times years ago, and it wasn't that bad, but this time sealed the deal, we won't be back, ever.

The food was tasteless. The mixed veggies were from a can and the medium rare steak was dry and had no taste. I am saddened by the restaurant. it was a great restaurant at one time.
